This speaker review summarises information presented at a workshop on spirometry given at the General Practice Conference and Medical Exhibition (GPCME) held in Christchurch on August 13, 2022. In particular, the workshop focused on how to interpret spirometry patterns so that a diagnosis can be reached, and the patient can be effectively managed. The speakers involved in the workshop were Professor Lutz Beckert (a Respiratory Physician), and Lauren Wallace and Audrey Quinlan (Respiratory Physiologists).
