Professor Paul Cohen

Professor Paul Cohen

Paul Cohen is a clinician researcher at the Western Australian Gynaecological Cancer Service,
St John of God Subiaco Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital in Perth, Western
Australia. His research interests include patient-reported outcomes and the supportive care
of women affected by gynaecological malignancies, gynaecological cancer genetics, the
epidemiology of gynaecological malignancies, and biomarkers to predict histological tumour
regression in women with high-grade serous tubo-ovarian cancer following neoadjuvant
chemotherapy.
Paul is the chair of the IGCS Education Committee, deputy chair of the Australia and New
Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG) Research Advisory Committee, past
program chair of the ANZGOG Annual Scientific Meeting, and a board member of ANZGOG.
He is a member of the Expert Advisory Committee for the Australian Cervical Cancer
Elimination Response (EAGER), eviQ Cancer Genetics Reference Committee, Australian
Clinical Trial Alliance Impact and Implementation Committee, and a member of the Editorial
Board of the International Journal of Gynaecological Cancer.
